Divide, Difference, Exclusion, Subtraction; 2018

This series uses preset image manipulation effects from Photoshop to alter images. The outcome of these effects on the images is pre-determined and as a result can be calculated. This calculation is disrupted by taking a piece of the image, material from the building in each photo, and bringing it into physical space. The virtual becomes physical. The wall, now handheld, becomes an object that we can see in it’s entirety. Change becomes possible.
